The short version
Flata has no account, no server of ours, and no analytics. Your photographs, your measurements, your cycle and your session history stay on your iPhone and in your own private iCloud. We never receive them, so there is nothing we could look at, sell, lose, or be compelled to hand over.
What the app stores, and where
Everything you enter is written to a database on your device: progress photographs, waist measurements, how your belly felt, the dates of your sessions, your reminder times, and, if you turn it on, the first day of your last period.
If you are signed in to iCloud, Apple syncs that database to your own private iCloud database, so it follows you to a new phone. That is a container in your Apple account, not ours. We hold no key to it and no copy of it.
Your photographs
A progress photograph is taken by you and stored with the rest of your data. It is never uploaded to us, and the app has no code capable of doing so. The camera is used for nothing else.
If you choose to share a before-and-after comparison, the image that leaves the app is the one you can see on screen at that moment, sent wherever you choose to send it. Nothing else is attached.
What we collect
Nothing. There is no sign-up, no e-mail address, no device identifier, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no third-party software development kit of any kind inside the app.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled by your phone and delivered by your phone. They are never sent from a server. Permission is asked only when you tap to turn a reminder on, and the app works without it.
The voice
The spoken guidance is recorded audio bundled with the app, generated with a text-to-speech model rather than performed by a person. Nothing you say or do is recorded, and the microphone is never used.
Payment
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card details, your name, or your billing address. Only whether an anonymous subscription is active.
Deleting everything
Settings has a control that erases every photograph, measurement, check-in and session from the device and from your iCloud. Deleting the app removes the local copy; the iCloud copy is removed by that control, or by deleting Flata’s data from your iCloud settings.
Children
Flata is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly hold any data at all.
Changes
If this ever changes, for instance if a feature one day needs a server, this page will say so before that feature ships, and the app will ask you first.
